Horror film screening of In My Skin at the Clinton Street Theater as part of their Horror October series.
Clinton Street Theater is screening the horror film In My Skin on Monday, October 19, at 7 PM. It's one of the many titles they're running throughout October as part of Horror October, the theater's annual month of cult classics, international horror, midnight movies, and Halloween-themed oddities. The whole month is rounded out with special screenings, live performances, and guest appearances, so In My Skin is just one night in a larger calendar of genre cinema.
If you've been around the Portland horror scene for a while, you might recognize the theater from GuignolFest, the city's original 72-hour horror film contest. It was founded back in 2009 by Dylan Hillerman and Julia Reodica, and over 17 years it's turned out more than 200 Portland-made horror shorts. That local horror tradition is a good way to frame what the theater does throughout the year, and Horror October is the peak of it.

In My Skin fits right into that mix. It's a horror screening, and it's part of a month that leans heavily into the cult and the international, so if you're into the stranger side of the genre, this is a good place to start. The theater is at 2522 S.E. Clinton St., and tickets are $10. The screening starts at 7 PM on Monday, October 19.
