Youth worship night with live music, games and activities for middle and high school students, featuring special guest J Arias.
J Arias headlines the IMPACT Youth Worship Night at Peniel Ministries on Wednesday, October 14. He's the special guest for the evening, with live worship also led by the Peniel Band. The whole thing is aimed at middle and high school students, and it's free to attend.
There's a bit of a homecoming story here. Arias was born in Portland to Mexican immigrant pastors and grew up playing drums, guitar and bass in his parents' church, which was one of the largest Hispanic congregations in the city. After high school, he taught himself music production and eventually moved to Tampa, where he now makes faith-centered reggaeton and Latin music that blends urbano energy with spiritual depth. NacΓ Otra Vez has become a core worship anthem for his audience.
The worship event itself runs from 7 PM to 9 PM, but the night starts and ends around it. A game room opens at 6 PM and stays open until 10 PM, with Mario Kart, FIFA, ping pong, air hockey and pool. There's also a youth lounge and a hot cocoa bar, with pizza, nachos, chips, cookies and popcorn on hand. If you're coming for the music, you can get there early and hang out first; if you're staying late, the games keep going long after the worship ends.
