Singer-songwriter Georgia Parker performs her indie folk, chamber pop and indie rock at the Mission Theater in Portland.
Georgia Parker plays the McMenamins Mission Theater on Tuesday, November 3, with Tashi T opening. Parker is a singer-songwriter from Kent, England, now based in Los Angeles, and this is an all-ages night in Portland's West End Entertainment District.
She's touring her second album, Pumpkin, which came out March 20, 2026. It follows her debut, Same Time Tomorrow, released in August 2024. Parker largely produced Pumpkin herself, and the record sits in indie folk, chamber pop, and indie rock. She describes it as working through themes of emotional self-protection, drawing on the inner child's longing for safety, tenderness, and rest.
Those descriptions point toward the quieter, more textural side of indie rock—the kind of music that leans on space and mood rather than big hooks. That fits with the names she cites as influences: Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, and Andy Shauf. It's a list that spans the hushed, intimate songwriting of Bridgers and Smith, the orchestral folk of Stevens and Shauf, and the more atmospheric, art-rock side of Radiohead.
