French Police

French Police play Wonder Ballroom on Saturday, October 10, as part of their North American Tour. The Chicago darkwave ensemble is fronted by vocalist and guitarist Brian Flores, with lead guitarist Manny Herrera and bassist Rolando Donjuan. Since 2019, their music has found a home with indie and post-punk audiences, blending rhythmic guitars and synths into what they call melancholic dance music for the passionate and the romantic.

The Portland date comes on the heels of their double single SUPER OVER DRIVE / SILVER, and the tour is taking that new material across the continent. The show is presented by Monqui and is open to all ages, so it's a night you can bring friends along for regardless of who's coming. Doors open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 8 PM at Wonder Ballroom, 128 NE Russell St, Portland, OR 97212. Tickets run from $29 to $50.50.
