Horror film screening of Frankenhooker at Clinton Street Theater as part of the venue's Horror October celebration.
Clinton Street Theater is screening Frankenhooker on Friday, October 23, at 7 PM. It's one of the titles in Horror October, the theater's annual month-long celebration of cult classics, international horror, midnight movies, and Halloween-themed oddities. Throughout the month, the theater puts on special screenings, live performances, and guest appearances, so Frankenhooker is just one night in a larger run of horror programming.
Clinton Street Theater also hosts GuignolFest, Portland's original 72-hour horror film contest. Dylan Hillerman and Julia Reodica started it back in 2009, and over 17 years it's turned out more than 200 Portland-made horror shorts. If you're into the local horror scene, that's a good piece of context for the kind of programming they do here.
