Dermot Kennedy performs live on his The Weight of the Woods Tour at the Moda Center in Portland, with opening act Dr. Jack's.
Dermot Kennedy brings his The Weight of the Woods Tour to the Moda Center on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. He'll be joined by opening act Dr. Jack's, with doors opening at 6:30 PM and the show starting at 7:30 PM.
Kennedy is an Irish singer-songwriter who first broke through in 2019 with his self-titled album, which went gold in the UK and gave him the hit "Power Over Me." That record earned him a deal with Interscope, and his major-label debut, Without Fear, hit number one in the UK and peaked at number 18 in the US. His 2021 sophomore album, Sonder, produced the platinum-selling "Better Days," and he's also known for the viral hit "Paradise."
This tour is built around his latest album, The Weight of the Woods, released in 2026 through Interscope. The record gives the tour its name and includes the single "Funeral," so you can expect a good portion of the set to come from the new material. Between that and the older songs from Sonder and Without Fear, there's a fair amount of ground for him to cover in one night.
