Metalcore band Demon Hunter headlines the 20th Anniversary Tour with support from Wolves At The Gate and Bloodlines at the Hawthorne Theatre.
Wolves At The Gate play the Hawthorne Theatre on Thursday, October 22, as part of a bill headed by Demon Hunter, who are touring the 20th anniversary of Storm the Gates of Hell. Bloodlines rounds out the lineup, so it's a full night of heavy music rather than a single act.
Wolves At The Gate are a post-hardcore band from Ohio that formed in 2008. Frontman Steve Cobucci, who also plays guitar, first fronted a band called Goodnight Doctor—a phrase his father would say whenever he hurt himself—before the group took a biblical name drawn from Acts 20:24-32. Their We Are The Ones EP, released through Solid State Records, closed with "Oh The Depths," a track that gathered more than 30 unsolicited gang vocals from fans who answered the band's call for guest singers. The current lineup is Abishai Collingsworth on drums, Steve Cobucci on guitar and vocals, Ben Summers on bass, Joey Alarcon on guitar, and Nick Detty on vocals.
