Concert by Danno Simpson, blending country, folk and rock and roll, with support from Charles Wesley Godwin.
Danno Simpson plays the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom on Sunday, October 18, with Charles Wesley Godwin opening the night. Simpson brings a raw, roots-driven sound that blends country, folk, and rock and roll, built on honest lyrics and songs like "Honest Work" and "Pearly Gates."
He's originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, and has spent a good deal of time on the road. He's toured nationally alongside The Steelwoods, Dylan Gossett, Red Clay Strays, 49 Winchester, Drayton Farley, Luke Grimes, and the Randy Rogers Band. That's a long list of names from the country and Americana circuit, so if you've caught any of those acts over the last few years, you've got a good sense of the company he keeps.
