An intimate listening party where the band Citizens performs their new album 'Cocoon' live before its official release, followed by a Q&A session.
Citizens are bringing their new album, Cocoon, to Portland on Monday, November 2, for a listening party that runs from 7 PM to 10 PM. The Seattle indie rock band — Zach Bolen, Connor Hedge, Brian Eichelberger, and Adam Skatula — is playing the record front-to-back before it's released anywhere else in the world. After that, they'll strip a few of the songs down to play them live, then sit down for a Q&A with the audience. The room is capped at 75 people, and the only way to get the album before Black Friday is to be in it.
If you're among the first 75 to buy tickets, you also get a pair of 3D glasses and an exclusive Cocoon tote bag. The pricing is tiered based on what you want to take home: $49.75 gets you the ticket, the glasses, and the tote; $68.29 adds the CD; $105.36 swaps the CD for a limited-edition hand-numbered vinyl from a run of 1,500, along with the glasses. There's also a $247.48 tier that includes the vinyl and a pre-show coffee hang with Connor and Zach for you and a friend, and a custom tier starting at $30. Under-16s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
