Grammy-winning artist Beck performs live on his Ride Lonesome Tour at the Keller Auditorium in Portland.

If you've followed him for a while, you know how hard it is to pin him down. He first made a name for himself when "Loser" went from a rejected 1992 demo to a 1994 hit, following his debut Mellow Gold. The record that really put him on the map was 1996's Odelay, which went multi-platinum and won the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, and gave us "Devil's Haircut," "The New Pollution," and the Grammy-winning "Where It's At."
He kept that momentum going with Mutations in 1998 and Midnite Vultures in 1999, both of which earned him Best Alternative Grammy. Later, Morning Phase took home Album of the Year at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, and Colors picked up Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, at the 61st. In total, he's an eight-time Grammy winner.

These last few years have seen him working in different formats. In 2023, he went big with the Summer Odyssey tour, co-headlining with Phoenix. That was followed by a full concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and orchestral performances at Carnegie Hall and London's Royal Albert Hall. This stop at the Keller is part of the Ride Lonesome Tour, with Ioanna Gika opening. The show is on Tuesday, November 10, at 8 PM, at the Keller Auditorium, 222 SW Clay St, Portland, OR 97201.
