Tumble's Toddlers

Tumble's Toddlers is back at Dartmoor Zoo on Monday 14 September, with this session focusing on snakes. It's a morning for the 2-to-4-year-old crowd, running from 10:30 to 12:00, so it fits right into the mid-morning gap when the little ones are usually at their most energetic.

If you're not familiar with it, Tumble's Toddlers is a social and educational group for toddlers to explore their wild side in a playful setting. The zoo describes it as a fun, encouraging environment where they can get stuck in and learn about animals. This particular session is all about snakes, so it's a good one if your lot have a thing for reptiles.

On the practical side, it costs £8 per child, which covers one activity session for one toddler and their accompanying adult. That doesn't include zoo admission, so standard entry rates apply on top of that. If you've already got an annual ticket and it's still in date, you only need to pay the £8 session fee. Under-2s can come along for free, though they don't take part in the session itself. The ticket also gets the adult a complimentary hot drink and a voucher for a discounted hot children's meal, which is a nice touch when you're out with a toddler.
