A tropical 80s night party with live headliner Riviera Dogs and 80s anthems at Home Park, featuring immersive decor, lighting and lasers.
Tropicana 80s Night is back at Home Park on Friday 21 August, running from 7pm until midnight. It's a return for the night, which sold out last time, and the organisers are pitching it as a full 80s experience rather than just a party. The music is built around 80s anthems, with Riviera Dogs headlining the live set — they're billed as one of the South West's most in-demand bands, and they'll be bringing those anthems to life on stage. DJs keep things going before, between and after the live set, so the music doesn't stop when the band finishes.
There's a fair bit more to it than just the music. The venue is transformed with immersive décor, and they're bringing in next-level lighting, lasers and production to fit the theme. There's a photobooth and a roaming photographer on the night, and fancy dress is encouraged, so if you've got an old neon windbreaker or some shoulder pads in the wardrobe, this is the time to dig them out.
