Plymouth Pride returns to the iconic Plymouth Hoe with a Pride March, community stalls, music, drag performers and a dog show, celebrating the city's diverse LGBTQ+ community.
Plymouth Pride returns to Plymouth Hoe on Saturday 11 July, the city's LGBTQ+ celebration back on the Hoe after the 2025 edition was cancelled. It's a free event, and it's split into two parts: the Pride March and the main festival on the Hoe.
The day kicks off with the Pride March, which sets off from the Theatre Royal at 11:00 and makes its way across town to the Hoe. Once the march arrives, the festival takes over the clifftop, with the Hoe's position overlooking Plymouth Sound as the backdrop. The main stage brings together local singers, bands, and drag performers, and there's a dog show in the mix too. Around the site, you'll find community stalls alongside the music and entertainment.
It's a community-run event, and this year's return comes after a gap in the calendar. The 2025 edition had to be called off because of funding and volunteer shortages, so this one is being rebuilt by a dedicated group of volunteer directors with renewed community backing. It's supported by Unite the Union and celebrates the city's diverse LGBTQ+ community, and it stays a free, community-focused day that relies on donations and sponsorship to keep going.
