Support meeting for students in recovery or curious about changing their relationship with substances, held in the Recreation and Wellness Center's Stress Free Zone.
Rise & Recover kicks off at the Recreation and Wellness Center on Thursday, October 22, at 10 AM. It's a series of meetings held in the center's Stress Free Zone, and this first one is open to any student in recovery, anyone curious about changing their relationship with substances, or anyone just looking to connect with others on the same journey. If you're in any of those camps, it's a place to be around people who get it.
It's not a one-off, either. The sessions continue through the fall, with meetings on November 5, November 19, and December 3, so if you can't make the first one, there are three more coming after it. They all happen at the same time and place, which makes it easy to drop in when it works for you.

On the practical side, they provide light breakfast snacks and refreshments, so you don't have to worry about coming on an empty stomach. Registration is encouraged, but it's not required, so you can just show up if that's easier. You'll find it at the Recreation and Wellness Center, in the Stress Free Zone, at 3921 O'Hara St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, on the University of Pittsburgh campus. The first session is Thursday, October 22, at 10 AM.
