Friday-night improv show by Arcade Comedy Theater's house teams, with short-form games and a musical improv set.
House Team Hot Spot: Harold Night is back at Arcade Comedy Theater this Friday, October 23, at 8:30 PM. It's one of Arcade's Friday-night improv staples, and if you've been around the local scene, you know the drill: the theater's home-grown improv teams take the stage for an evening of unpredictable, high-energy comedy that runs about 75 minutes.
The night is built around lively short-form games, the kind that leave plenty of room for the audience to get involved, so you're not just watching from your seatβyou're part of the show. After that, the energy shifts into a dynamic musical improv set that unfolds from a single suggestion, meaning the whole thing is built on the spot and will never be the same twice. It's a good mix of fast-paced games and a longer, improvised musical piece, all in one night.

Arcade Comedy Theater has been downtown Pittsburgh's home for live comedy since 2013, with improv, stand-up, and sketch every weekend. It's a BYOB atmosphere, so if you're 21 or older, you can bring a six-pack or a bottle of wine for a $5 per person corkage fee. Tickets are $15 and are sold in advance through the theater's partner, Showclix, or at the Arcade Box Office on the day of the show. They're non-refundable but transferable, so if your plans change, you can pass yours along to a friend. If this Friday doesn't work, the show runs again on October 30, December 4, and December 18.
