The Murder Mystery Co's Dinner Theater Show

The Murder Mystery Co is bringing its dinner theater show to The Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Phoenix, with the first performance on Saturday, November 7, at 7 PM. It's a live-action version of Clue: you're not just watching a play, you're part of the story. While a three-course meal is served, some guests are cast as suspects and others work as detectives in table teams to solve the crime. Costumes are optional, so you can lean into the mystery or just show up as you are.

The company was founded by Scott Cramton, a Shark Tank winner who's been producing immersive mystery entertainment since 2002. He also produced the award-winning Off-Broadway show Speakeasy Die Softly, and that same focus on immersive theater carries over here—the line between the stage and the audience is pretty thin.

The venue is a downtown Phoenix landmark in its own right. The Old Spaghetti Factory occupies a building from 1921 that started as two separate residences, the Cole Mansion and the Baker House, which were later joined and reimagined as a pasta destination. Inside, you'll find antique lighting, intricate stained glass, large colorful booths, and a restored Phoenix Railway trolley car where guests can dine. It sits right next to the Phoenix Art Museum, with the McDowell/Central Avenue Light Rail Station directly across the street.

November 7 is just the start. The show runs through the fall and winter, with Friday performances on November 13, 20, December 4, 11, and 18, all starting at 7:30 PM. Each show lasts about two and a half hours, and doors open 30 minutes before the start. Tickets are $69 plus fees per person.
