A casual Monday night bike ride through downtown Phoenix designed for beginners, finishing with a stop at a local pub.
The Phoenix Down Tempo Ride is back on Monday, October 19, starting from Civic Space Park at 8 PM. It's a casual Monday night ride through the heart of downtown Phoenix, and it's free and open to all. If you can't make this one, there are two more dates coming up right after: October 26 and November 2.
The ride is aimed squarely at beginners who might be nervous about riding on the streets. The routes are designed to be accessible, though they may include short ramps like pedestrian bridges over the freeway. The group welcomes all types of bikes, and they offer support if you get a flat or a mechanical issue along the way. It runs at around eight miles per hour and lasts about an hour, finishing with a stop at a local pub or bar that is often 21+.
