Metal Madness

Metal Madness is taking over Yucca Tap Room on Sunday, October 18, with five bands on one bill. It's a full night of metal in Phoenix, and the lineup is Forgotten Graves, Carnal Rot, Mutilated, NecroBong, and Existence.

That's five acts to work through in a single evening, so you'll get a good run of the local scene without having to bounce between venues. The bill pulls from different corners of the metal world, with the names alone giving you a sense of the ground they're covering. Forgotten Graves, Carnal Rot, and Mutilated all lean into the heavier, darker side of things, while NecroBong and Existence round out the roster. If you've been following any of these bands, this is a chance to see them on the same stage.

It's a Sunday night, which is a bit of a change from the usual Friday or Saturday metal run, so it's a good one if you're looking for something to do before the work week kicks back in. The show starts at 8 PM, and with five bands on the bill, you'll want to get there early if you're planning to catch every set from the first opener to the final act. If you're just coming for a few of your favorites, you've got some room to play with your arrival time.

One of the best parts is that it's free, so there's no ticket to buy in advance. You just show up at Yucca Tap Room on Sunday, October 18, at 8 PM. With five bands on the bill and no cover, it's a low-stakes way to spend a Sunday night with a lot of metal on the menu.
