A session of full-contact lube wrestling held at Club Contact, with free entry.
Full Contact Lube Wrestling is coming to Club Contact on Sunday, October 18, for a session of lube wrestling. It's exactly what the name says: a wrestling match where the ring is lubricated, making every grip and hold a lot harder to hold onto. If you've never seen it, the lube changes the whole dynamic—instead of a contest of strength and leverage, it becomes a scramble where nobody can quite get a handle on anything.
It's a physical, slippery kind of wrestling that's more about the struggle to stay upright than the usual grappling you'd see in a standard match. The lube makes the ring a hazard for both competitors, and the whole thing tends to be as much about the chaos of the movement as it is about who actually wins. It's the kind of thing that's better seen in person than described on a page.

Club Contact is at 747 W Van Buren St in downtown Phoenix, and the session starts at 8 PM. Entry is free, so you can just show up and watch without worrying about tickets or a cover charge. If you're around downtown on a Sunday night and want to see something a bit different from the usual weekend lineup, this is a good one to keep on your radar. It's free, it's in the city, and it's exactly what it sounds like.
