Drunk Shakespeare: Drunk Dracula

Drunk Shakespeare is coming to the Rose Theatre at Arizona Center on Wednesday, October 21, with a production titled Drunk Dracula. It's a 21+ event, so you'll need your ID to get in.

If you've never seen the show, the premise is pretty straightforward: an actor performs a Shakespeare play while drinking throughout the performance. The drinking is part of the act, and the way the performance shifts as the night goes on is the whole point. This particular run is Drunk Dracula, which puts a gothic, vampire-themed spin on the format.

The Rose Theatre is right in the heart of downtown Phoenix at 455 N 3rd St Suite 1010, so it's an easy spot to get to if you're already in the city center. Since it's a 21+ show, it's the kind of night that works well if you're planning to grab a drink or a bite nearby before or after.

Tickets start at $151, and the show kicks off at 7 PM. Between the 21+ requirement and the mid-week date, it's a specific kind of night out—one that leans into the theatrical and the adult side of things rather than a casual matinee. If you're into Shakespeare and don't mind a bit of chaos mixed in, this is exactly the kind of thing that makes a Wednesday night in Phoenix feel like something more than just another workday.
