Carlos Rivas y Mexsal Celebrando 44th Años de Historia Musical

Carlos Rivas is playing the Stratus Event Center on Tuesday, October 20, with Mexsal joining him on stage. The show is billed as a celebration of 44 years of musical history, so the set is built around that milestone rather than a single new record. It's a long stretch of time to look back on, and the night is framed as a career-spanning retrospective.

Rivas is a Latin music artist whose career goes back several decades, and he's built a following around a passionate, energetic style that people describe as making for an unforgettable stage performance. The promotion for this one leans into that: they invite audiences to feel the heat of the tropical genre and the energy of his live music. It's the kind of show that asks you to come for the dancing as much as the listening.

Prime Entertainment Llc is presenting the evening, and it's for ages 21 and over. The music is tropical, the set is a career look-back, and the energy is meant to be high.

It starts at 6 PM at the Stratus Event Center, 4344 W Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85031. Pre-sale tickets are $23.50.
