If you haven't seen Banana Ball, it's baseball with a lot of rule changes meant to keep things moving. Games are capped at two hours, bunting gets a batter ejected, and batters can try to steal first base at any point during their turn. Fans who catch a foul ball in the air record an out, and if a game is tied, it's settled with a short showdown tiebreaker. The shows mix in dance routines, trick plays, comedy bits, and umpires who dance, so the game itself is only part of the night. The 2027 tour will visit 74 cities and 79 stadiums across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and according to the organization, it's expected to draw about 4.3 million fans.
Tickets are handled through a lottery at BananaBall.com, which closes at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, October 31, 2026, so there are only a few days left to enter. Signing up doesn't guarantee a seat, since a random drawing decides who gets access. Fans First Tickets is the only authorized seller, and standard tickets start at $35. Meet and Greet packages start at $125, while games at MLB and other large venues start at $150. Tickets bought from sellers outside the official platform are often fake, so it's worth sticking to the official channels.
Chase Field, at 401 East Jefferson Street in downtown Phoenix, opened on March 31, 1998, the same year the Diamondbacks debuted as an expansion team. It has a retractable roof, and the ballpark is home to the Diamondbacks, who hosted games in the 2023 World Series. Seeing the Bananas there in May will give Phoenix fans a chance to watch the team in a ballpark that's already part of the city's sports calendar. Check the official Diamondbacks event page for updates before you plan your trip.
