Besides plants, the shop sells pots, soil, and items for terrariums and vivariums. Its handmade pots and accessories are one of its specialties, and it also stocks larger enclosures for frogs. Many visitors come for the dart frog terrariums, which reviewers often mention as a highlight. Reviews also praise the unusual selection, the healthy plants, and the jungle-like atmosphere inside the store.
The store has a space called The Bamboo Room, used for classes, parties, and RSVP events. Customers can build their own terrarium there and bring their own drinks. An upcoming event is Boozy Bingo on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 PM. Reviewers mention the staff by name, and one customer singled out Jack, who works with animal care and terrariums and is also interested in White's Tree Frogs.

The shop is open every day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You can call 602-799-9796 or email info@jungleboxaz.com. If you prefer to order online, plants ship bare-rooted, with about 75% of the soil removed and the roots packed in damp sphagnum moss. Orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays, and orders placed by the end of business Sunday will most likely ship the following week. Shipping is through USPS, with 2-Day Priority Mail or overnight options, and overnight is recommended for sensitive plants. The store is not responsible for lost packages or wrong addresses, and returns are handled case by case. Refunds are generally not given for live plants.
If you want to help out, the volunteer program accepts people who are at least 18 years old and willing to do hands-on plant care, cleaning, and general upkeep. Shifts last between 2 and 4 hours. Volunteers who meet their monthly hours receive a gift card: $120 for 8 hours, $180 for 12 hours, or $240 for 16 hours. To sign up, email info@jungleboxaz.com.
