Free vintage and antique flea market with clothing, records, furniture, jewelry and collectibles run by Phila Flea Markets.
Phila Flea Markets is bringing its vintage and antique flea market to 3400 Lancaster Ave. in University City on Saturday, Oct. 17, and again on Saturday, Oct. 24. It's a two-weekend run, with both dates running from 8 AM to 5 PM, so if you can't make the first one, you've got a second shot the following Saturday.
As for what you'll find, it's a broad mix of vintage and antique. There's clothing, records, furniture, jewelry, and collectibles—the kind of spread where you can spend an hour digging through crates of vinyl and then wander over to look at old furniture or jewelry. It's not a one-category show, so it works whether you're hunting for a specific piece or just browsing.
The market is run by Phila Flea Markets, also known as the Philly Flea, which has been staging vintage and antique markets across Philadelphia since 1985. They operate as a traveling series, moving from neighborhood to neighborhood from spring through autumn, so this University City stop is one of several they set up throughout the city each year. The organizers state that all of their markets are accessible to people with disabilities.
