Tea party on wheels: a 90-minute guided tour of Philadelphia's landmarks with three teas, scones and bites served on a floral-decorated tour bus.
Tea Around Town is rolling through Philadelphia starting Saturday, October 17, with the tour running through September 1, 2028. It's run by New York City-based TopView Sightseeing, and the whole thing centers on a giant pink tour bus decorated in florals and outfitted with booths inside. They describe it as a 'tea party on wheels,' and that's pretty much what it is: a traditional afternoon tea service served while you're on the move.
Over the course of about 90 minutes, you'll work your way through three curated teas paired with freshly baked scones, savory bites, and sweet treats. While you're eating and drinking, a live guide shares the city's history, and the bus takes you past some of Philadelphia's biggest landmarks—the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. There's live entertainment on board, too, so it's not just the sightseeing and the tea keeping you occupied.
The bus is temperature-controlled and runs rain or shine, so you don't have to worry about the weather. The company pitches it as a good fit for special occasions like birthdays or bridal showers, and they offer the option to charter the bus for a private event if you're bringing a group.
