Night of electronic music headlined by Tantaween with En Plastic & Nadafinger, Pink Soap, Walkaways and Big Hum at PhilaMOCA.
Tantaween are playing PhilaMOCA on Friday, October 23, with En Plastic & Nadafinger, Pink Soap, Walkaways, and Big Hum. It's a five-act bill, so you'll be there for the long haul if you stay for the whole thing.
PhilaMOCA—the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art—is a multi-award-winning art and screening space at 531 N. 12th St. The name isn't a joke: it's housed in what was once a showroom for mausoleums, and it now serves as an all-purpose gallery and venue for the city's art community. The night opens with a quote attributed to David Lynch: "It was a mixture of heaven and hell, Philadelphia."

En Plastic & Nadafinger are on the bill alongside Pink Soap, Walkaways, and Big Hum. With five names on the poster, the evening stretches across several sets rather than one headliner taking the whole night. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM, so you've got a half-hour to get settled before the first act takes the stage. Tickets are $15 to $20.
