Two themed dance parties: vampire-inspired The Crypt and witch-themed The Coven, with DJ Riot Meg and DJ DeathRocketGrimm.
Riot Nerd is taking over Underground Arts on Friday, October 30, for a Supernatural Dance Party that splits the night between two rooms on one ticket. The main room is The Crypt, a vampire-themed space with DJ Riot Meg on the decks. The second room is The Coven, a witch-themed black box with DJ DeathRocketGrimm. You can drift between the two throughout the night, so you get two different vibes under one roof.
Beyond the dancing, there's a free themed photo booth and a costume contest, and the bar will be running themed drink specials. It's a full Halloween setup, so coming in costume fits the room.
Underground Arts has been a part of the local music and art scene for over a decade, having started as a vision to open the basement of the Wolf Building at 12th and Callowhill. It's a familiar spot in the city, and this party takes over two of its spaces at once.
