Halloween-themed mini golf course with eerie lighting, fog, strobes and spooky decorations, with kid-friendly daytime rounds and spookier evening rounds.
Spooky Mini Golf is back at Franklin Square from October 1 through November 1, 2026. The park's 18-hole mini golf course, which usually follows a Philadelphia theme, gets a full Halloween makeover for the month: eerie colored lighting, theatrical fog, strobe lights, and spooky decorations, with a soundtrack of eerie music playing as you putt.
The course runs daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, but it's worth knowing that the experience changes depending on when you go. Daytime tee times are kid-friendly and calm, while the evening rounds—from 5 PM to 10 PM—bring out the animated props and special effects. If you're bringing kids, the daytime is the way to go; if you want the full theatrical side of it, aim for after 5 PM.
Around the course, the Boo-zy Bar serves creepy cocktails, bone-chilling brews, and wicked wines from Thursday to Sunday evenings, along with a kid-friendly drink. The golf is part of a larger Halloween presence in the park: there's a free Pumpkin Patch for children 10 and under, Trick-or-Treat Street, and a Bark-or-Treat Trail for dogs. The park itself is free to enter, but the course and the Parx Liberty Carousel require tickets, and advance purchase is recommended for the busiest nights.
