A family-friendly Halloween event at Solly Stables where visitors can trick-or-treat among costumed horses in the barn.
Solly Stables is hosting Solloween on Sunday, October 18, from 11 AM to 1 PM. It's their family-friendly Halloween event, and the main draw is exactly what the name suggests: the farm's horses dress up in their best costumes for the day. If you've ever wondered what a horse looks like in a costume, this is your chance to see it in person.
From there, the trick-or-treating part comes in. Visitors are invited to bring along a candy bucket, and the whole family can go around the barn together to fill it up. It's a low-stakes, easy way to get the kids into the Halloween spirit without having to trek across the neighborhood, and since it's in the barn, you're doing it right alongside the horses. It's the kind of thing that works as well for toddlers as it does for older kids, and it's designed for the whole family to do together.
