Free workshop hosted by The Alexander Advantage to help high school students prepare for the reading and writing portion of the SAT.
The Alexander Advantage is hosting a free SAT workshop for high school students at Parkway Central Library on Saturday, October 24. It runs from 2:00 to 4:30 PM in Room 25, inside The Field Teen Center.
This is the first of a two-part series, and this particular session focuses on the reading and writing portion of the SAT. If you're a high schooler getting ready for the test, it's a good place to startβyou'll spend two and a half hours working through that half of the exam, and since it's part one, there's a second session coming later to keep the momentum going.
The workshop is held at The Field Teen Center, which is the dedicated youth space inside Parkway Central Library. It's built for ages 12 to 18, so it's a spot where you can find reference and research support, daily programs, and a place to hang out. There's also a Young Adult collection open to everyone, so if you're already in the building for the workshop, you can browse the shelves before or after.
