Preschool storytime with stories, movement and songs led by Mr. Nate for children ages 2 to 5 with a caregiver.
Mr. Nate leads a preschool storytime at Wadsworth Library on Monday, October 19, at 2 PM. It's part of the Free Library of Philadelphia's children's storytime series, which brings stories, songs, rhymes and play to families across the system. The session is built around stories, movement and songs, so it's as much about getting up and moving as it is about sitting and listening.
The session is aimed at preschoolers and early school-age children, ages 2 to 5, attending with an adult caregiver. Older siblings are always welcome, and groups or classes are asked to call ahead to ensure accommodation. It's a good fit if you've got a little one in that age range and want a low-pressure way to get them around other kids and into a library.
This is one of more than 28,000 engaging and enlightening programs for all ages that the Free Library of Philadelphia offers each year. The storytime series itself runs across the whole system, with different branches hosting their own sessions throughout the city. If you're in the neighborhood, it's an easy way to spend a Monday afternoon with the kids.
