Fifth annual 20-mile non-competitive bike ride through car-free streets, ending with a festival of music, food and activities.
The Philly Bike Ride returns to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Saturday, October 17, for its fifth annual edition. It's a 20-mile social ride through car-free streets, so you're cruising without traffic instead of fighting it. The start line is at the Parkway and N 22nd Street, and the finish is in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy.
It's a ride, not a race. You go at your own pace past some of the city's most iconic sights, with live music and entertainment along the way and rest stops for food, drinks and restrooms. The course takes you through Center City and past Independence Hall, follows the water along Penn's Landing and Kelly Drive, heads up toward Manayunk and then circles back to the Art Museum. Every pass comes with a commemorative 2026 item, and there's a rent-and-ride program if you don't have a bike of your own.
The ride ends with a Finish Festival at the museum, with food trucks and a beer garden to close out the day. It's run by American Bike Ride, LLC with support from Visit PA.
