Watch party with a cocktail reception, live simulcast of Terry Gross's conversation with Paul McCartney and a dessert reception to celebrate Fresh Air's 50th anniversary.
WHYY Studios is hosting a watch party for Terry Gross and Paul McCartney on Monday, November 23, as part of the 50th anniversary of Fresh Air. The night is built around a live simulcast of Gross's conversation with McCartney, which was recorded at The Town Hall in New York. It's being held at WHYY, the home station of Fresh Air, and the whole thing is hosted by Cherri Gregg.
The evening is billed as the culminating celebration of Terry Gross's 50th anniversary with the program, bringing together two voices whose work has shaped music, culture and conversation for generations. The format runs from a cocktail reception to the live simulcast of the conversation, with a dessert reception to follow afterward.
