Veterans Day parade down the Ben Franklin Parkway followed by a festival at Eakins Oval honoring military service.
The 12th Annual Philadelphia Veterans Parade and Festival takes over the Ben Franklin Parkway on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The parade kicks off at 12 PM, and the festival follows from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. The route runs down the Parkway and ends at Eakins Oval, just past the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where the festival takes over. The whole day is televised on Channel 6.
It's a tribute to military service, meant to honor veterans, uphold their legacy, and bring the community together. The parade started about twelve years ago when Anthony Murphy teamed up with fellow veterans to get the march on the road. This year, the event welcomes new sponsors, with CHUBB joining as a Silver Sponsor and AIROS Medical as a Gold Sponsor.
