NBA home game of the Philadelphia 76ers against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
The Philadelphia 76ers host the Minnesota Timberwolves at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday, January 16, 2027. It's a home game for Philly, so the Sixers get the crowd behind them for this one.
On the court, it's the 76ers taking on the Timberwolves, a matchup that brings Minnesota to Philadelphia for the night. The Timberwolves are the visiting team, and the game is part of the regular season schedule, so it's a standard league contest with the Sixers playing on their own floor. If you've been following the season, you know how these home games work—the home team gets the first crack at the crowd, and the visiting team has to deal with the road atmosphere.
Since it's a home game, the 76ers will be the ones in their home jerseys, and the Timberwolves will be the ones traveling in. It's a single game, not a series, so the outcome is decided in one night. The Timberwolves are the main feature of the evening, the team coming into town to face the Sixers in front of the Philadelphia crowd.
