Parent café with breakfast and refreshments for parents and caregivers to talk about managing holiday emotions, with a raffle.
SPIN Frankford Community is hosting a Parent Café on Thursday, October 22, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. It's a two-hour session open to parents and caregivers, and the whole thing is built around breakfast, refreshments, and conversation.
The theme this time is making room for emotions around the holidays. It's a topic that hits home for a lot of usâthe mix of stress, nostalgia, and everything else that bubbles up when the end of the year rolls around. The conversation leans into resilience and social connections as protective factors for families, so the focus is as much on how we hold up as it is on the holidays themselves. You'll be sharing a meal with other parents and caregivers, and the morning is designed as a space to talk through those things together rather than just listening to a presentation.
There's a raffle for attendees, and the session is open to everyone, though there's a capacity of 25 people, so it's a relatively small group. Registration is done via QR code, so you'll want to get your spot sorted before you head over.
