Over-21s New Year's Eve masquerade dinner show with burlesque, aerial, drag, musical and circus acts at Fabrika.
Fabrika is doing a masquerade dinner show for New Year's Eve on Thursday, December 31, and it's a bit of a departure from the usual way the city does the holiday. The night is built around a dinner show that runs throughout the evening, with burlesque, aerialists, drag, live musical talent, and circus acts all sharing the same room. It's a variety bill that doesn't stop for the meal; the performances happen around you while the tableside service keeps going.
If you haven't been to Fabrika yet, it helps to know how the space is set up. It's Philadelphia's first fully immersive dinner theater, an industrial-chic room with aerial rigs and multi-level seating. The center of it all is a 360-degree hydraulic stage that moves and changes throughout the night, which is where a lot of the action happens. For this particular evening, the room is dressed for the occasion, and guests are encouraged to come in black-tie attire with masquerade masks—a limited number of which are handed out at the door if you don't bring your own.

It's strictly 21 and over, with ID checked at the door, so keep that in mind if you're planning a group. When the show finally wraps, the night doesn't end there; you can keep going at the connected Margolis Lounge and The Patio Fishtown. Doors open at 5 PM, and the dinner show itself kicks off at 7 PM.
