Halloween party at Philly SkatePlex with crafts, face painting, costumes and Halloween music.
Philly SkatePlex is hosting its Not So Scary Halloween Party this Saturday, October 17, and it's set up as a full afternoon of activities rather than just a skate session. The party runs in two separate windowsโ12 PM to 3 PM and 4 PM to 7 PMโso you can pick the slot that works best for your day. Both are on the same Saturday, and both have the same lineup of things to do.
Beyond the skating, there's a craft table for making Halloween-themed projects and face painting to get everyone in character. Costumes are encouraged, and the whole thing is backed by Halloween music, which should set the mood whether you're on wheels or just hanging out. It's a family-friendly take on the holiday, and the "Not So Scary" in the name tells you exactly where it lands: more about the festive side of Halloween than the spooky side.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Philadelphia and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping the two time slots in mind. You can head in for the midday session from 12 PM to 3 PM, or wait until the afternoon and go from 4 PM to 7 PM. Admission is $14, and skate rental is an additional $6. The party is at Philly SkatePlex, 11586 Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia.
