Singing and dancing storytime for children ages 6 and under with their caretakers, led by Ms. Naomi.
Music and Movement is back at Parkway Central Library on Thursday, October 22, at 10:30 AM. It's a singing and dancing storytime for children ages 6 and under and their caretakers, and it's part of the Free Library of Philadelphia's Storytimes series.
Ms. Naomi leads the session, which blends singing and dancing with a movement-oriented storytime. The whole thing is designed for the little ones, so it's as much about getting them up and moving as it is about the stories. Once the structured part wraps up, there's plenty of playtime left over for the kids to just be kids.
One thing to keep in mind: the location depends on the weather. The session is held in the Children's Department at Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street—between 19th and 20th Streets on the Parkway—and it'll be in Shakespeare Park if it's nice out, or in Montgomery Auditorium if it's not. If you need ASL interpretation, that's available upon advance request.

It's a morning thing, so it fits right into a weekday routine with a toddler or preschooler. The session starts at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 22, at the Parkway Central Library Children's Department.
