Wine tasting pairing wines from regions along the route of Agatha Christie's 'Murder on the Orient Express'.
Jet Wine Bar is doing a wine tasting built around Murder on the Orient Express on Tuesday, November 17, from 6 PM to 8 PM. The whole evening follows the route of the train from Agatha Christie's novel, so you're sampling wines from the regions the train passes through as it makes its way across Europe.
It starts at the platforms where the passengers first board, then moves through the Thracian plains, the snowbound Danubian valleys, and the Alpine slopes, with each stop paired with a wine from that part of the journey. The tasting is framed around the book itself, and the bar encourages you to read it before you come, so you can follow the route in your head while you're tasting your way through it. If you've never read it, it's a good excuse to pick up a copy before the night.
