Live show by Movements, from Rancho Santa Margarita, California, at the Franklin Music Hall.
Movements play Franklin Music Hall on Saturday, October 24, with the show starting at 7 PM. The California band is touring their fourth full-length album, Happier Now, released on Fearless Records.
They're coming from Rancho Santa Margarita, and the lineup is the same one you've probably seen on record: Ira George on guitar, Patrick Miranda on vocals, Austin Cressey on bass, and Spencer York on drums. The new album was produced by Will Yip, who's worked with Turnstile, Title Fight, and Circa Survive, and the two singles that led up to it were "Dissolve Me" and "Back In My Ways."
As for what they'll play, the record blends the early elements of their sound with newer material from 2023's RUCKUS!, so the set should pull from both ends of the timeline rather than sticking to just the new stuff. If you've followed them since the beginning, you'll recognize the older threads; if you're coming in fresh, the RUCKUS! era is where they've been lately.
