Weekly Monday hangout for teens at the Philadelphia City Institute with anime screenings and tie-dye.
Monday Teen Hangout is back at the Philadelphia City Institute on Monday, October 26, from 4 PM to 6 PM. It's part of the Free Library of Philadelphia's Monday teen program, which is built for young adults in the city. If you're in that age group and looking for something to do on a Monday afternoon, this is a good place to start.
The program usually centers on a couple of different activities. Anime screenings are a regular part of the mix, and tie-dye is another one that comes up. It's the kind of thing you can drop into for an hour or hang out for the full two. Since it's a recurring series, you don't have to worry about catching it all in one go—there's another session on Monday, November 16, if you can't make this one.

You'll find it at the Philadelphia City Institute, located at 1905 Locust Street—that's 19th and Locust, right by W. Rittenhouse Square in Center City. It's a convenient spot if you're already downtown for school or just hanging around the neighborhood. The sessions run from 4 PM to 6 PM, so it's an after-school window that works for most schedules. The next date is Monday, October 26, followed by Monday, November 16.
