Casual conversation with teen author Dior Brown about what it means to be a teenage author, with snacks provided.
Dior Brown is stopping by the Field Teen Center at Parkway Central Library on Wednesday, November 4, for a casual conversation about what it means to be a teenage author. It's not a formal reading or a lecture; the whole thing is set up as a conversation, so it's more of a chance to hear Brown talk through the experience of writing and publishing while still in their teens than a performance. If you've ever wondered what that actually looks like from the inside, this is where you'll get the answer.
The session is aimed at teenagers, and the Field Teen Center is open to anyone ages 12 to 18, so it's built for a younger crowd rather than a general audience. That fits the subject matter, tooβthe conversation is about being a teenage author, a perspective that's a lot easier to relate to when you're in that same age bracket yourself.
