Manayunk Mac n' Cheese Crawl

Manayunk is bringing back the Mac n' Cheese Crawl on Saturday, October 17, as part of the neighborhood's larger fall festival. It's the second year for the crawl, which is run by the Manayunk Development Corporation, the nonprofit that manages the Main Street business district. The crawl itself is a ticketed tasting tour that takes you through the neighborhood to sample creative takes on mac and cheese at 18 participating restaurants.

The lineup is a wide sweep of the neighborhood's bars and eateries: Bayou Bar & Grill, Blondie, Cactus Cantina, Canalside Beer Garden, Chabaa Thai Bistro, JD McGillicuddy's, Lucky's Last Chance-Manayunk, Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant, Mia Ragazza, Ryan's Pub, Sophie's BBQ, Taqueria Amor/Riptide Tavern, The Brass Tap-Philly, The Cresson Inn, The Goat's Beard, The Tomato Shack-Manayunk, US Hotel Bar & Grill, and Yanako. You follow an interactive map on the Let's Rallie app, vote for your favorite dish, and get entered to win a $100 Manayunk gift card.

The crawl is the main event of the Manayunk Fall Fest, which fills Main Street with more than a dozen food trucks, over fifty local vendors and artists, and live outdoor music across three stages. There's a Kids Market at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center, and the whole day is family-friendly, with face painting, a pop-up pumpkin patch, caricatures, and a line-dancing demonstration. Between the tasting stops, you can browse the local shops along the way.

Logistics: The crawl runs from 12 PM to 4 PM, with check-in starting at 11:30 AM outside the Manayunk Welcome Center at 106 Grape St. Tickets are $20 per person in presale.
