Kelly Starling Lyons and E. B. Lewis Author and Illustrator Visit

Kelly Starling Lyons and E. B. Lewis are coming to the Parkway Central Library on Friday, October 23, for a visit to celebrate the release of Riding Magic!. The session takes place in the Children's Department, and it's presented by the Free Library of Philadelphia as part of the library's Author Events - Free Series.

It's a rare chance to see the two people behind the book in the same room. Kelly Starling Lyons is an acclaimed children's book author, a teaching artist, and a diversity advocate, and she's also a founding member of The Brown. E. B. Lewis is an award-winning illustrator and fine artist. Together they're the author and illustrator of Riding Magic!, and this visit is built around the book's release.

The session is aimed at school-age children and preschoolers, so it's a good one to bring the kids along for. It starts at 10:30 AM in the Children's Department at Parkway Central Library, and admission is free.
