Weekly Friday playgroup for babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents or caregivers at the Chestnut Hill Library.
The Infant and Toddler Playgroup is back at Chestnut Hill Library on Friday, November 6, starting at 10:30 AM. It's part of the library's Family Programs, and it's a regular fixture at the branch, which meets most Fridays.
The session is built around play, talking, and exploring books and toys while listening to music. It's designed for babies and toddlers attending with their parents, grandparents, or caregivers, so it's as much about the adults as it is about the little ones. The focus is on letting the kids engage with the materials at their own pace, with the music running in the background to keep things moving.
Because it's a regular program, it's an easy one to drop into whenever your schedule allows. If you're in the neighborhood on a Friday morning, you can just show up with your little one and join in. It's a low-pressure way to get out of the house and let your child be around other kids their age, and it's a good chance to meet other parents and caregivers in the community while you're at it.
