14th annual dog-friendly fall festival with local vendors, food, drinks, and a pet costume contest supporting Street Tails Animal Rescue.
Hound-O-Ween returns to Liberty Lands Park on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM to 4 PM. It's the 14th annual fall festival from Street Tails Animal Rescue, and the proceeds go toward their work finding homes for homeless dogs. The event is held in Northern Liberties at 913 N. 3rd St, and it's built around a dog parade and costume contest that's become a citywide draw. First place in the contest takes home a cash prize.
Beyond the parade, the day fills out with rescue-focused vendors, raffles, and food trucks, with treats for both two-legged and four-legged attendees. Local businesses are on board this year, too: Tito's Handmade Vodka, New Trail Brewing, Mom-Mom's Kitchen, and Winky's Hotdog Cart are among the partners. If you're planning to enter your dog in the costume contest, you'll need to pre-register to secure a spot.

It's a long-running tradition for Street Tails, now in its 14th year, and it's grown into the neighborhood's premier dog event. The parade and contest are the main draw, but the rest of the day is a full-on fall festival. The whole thing runs from 11 AM to 4 PM at Liberty Lands Park, 913 N. 3rd St, in Northern Liberties.
