Halloween week of Haunted Mansion-style decorations, seasonal Halloween drinks and a weekly horror movie night at the outdoor Uptown Beer Garden.
Uptown Beer Garden is leaning into Halloween this month with its Haunted Mansion takeover, a seasonal transformation of the 350-seat outdoor space at 1500 John F Kennedy Boulevard. The whole place gets decked out in Haunted Mansion style, with creepy, Instagrammable decorations and a drink menu to match. It's a 21+ crowd, so keep that in mind before you head over.
The drinks are where the theme really shows. There's a Blood Bag Sangria, a smoking cauldron sipper, and the 'Basic Witch'—Absolut Vanilla, Baileys, and pumpkin spice. Those sit alongside seasonal drafts and non-alcoholic options, so you can lean into the spooky stuff or just stick to a beer. The outdoor space is open year-round, and this is how it spends October.

On Wednesday nights, they add a movie component: Haunted Mansion Movie Night, with classic horror films screening on the big screen. If you're into old-school horror and want to watch it with a drink in hand, that's the night to aim for. The whole thing runs every Wednesday at 7 PM, from October 7 through October 28, so you've got several weeks to fit it in.
