Halloween pop-up at Bridget Foy's on South Street with Halloween-themed cocktails, tarot readings, scary movies and a costume competition.
Bridget Foy's is bringing back The Haunt throughout October, their Halloween pop-up that turns the South Street spot into a dark, theatrical drinking den all month long. It's the second year they're doing this, so if you caught it last time, you know the vibe: candlelight and vintage-inspired décor instead of flashing lights, with the whole place leaning into a moody, immersive feel.
Beyond the drinks, there's a full program running alongside the bar. They've got tarot card readings, scary movies, and costume competitions, and they'll be selling seasonal merchandise too. It's the kind of thing you can drop into for a single drink or hang out at for a few hours, depending on how much of the spooky stuff you're in the mood for.
The bar menu is the main draw here. They've put together a list of Halloween-themed 'potions' that go well beyond the usual seasonal specials. There's the Nosfera-Tini, a Bloody Mary-infused vodka drink with pickle and olive brine; the tequila-based Hell Hound; and the frozen Count Daiqula. If you're not drinking, there's the booze-free frozen Monster Mash topped with Halloween sprinkles. They're also pouring a selection of seasonal brews, including pumpkin ales and black widow cider.
