Halloween pop-up at Bridget Foy's on South Street with a themed cocktail menu, tarot readings, scary movies and a costume competition.
Haunt is back at Bridget Foy's for the month of October, the second year the Halloween pop-up has taken over the South Street spot. It's a full-month takeover rather than a single night, so you've got the whole of October to drop in when it works for you.
Inside, the bar transforms into a dark, theatrical Halloween drinking den. The vibe is built around candlelight and vintage-inspired décor, and the drinks menu follows suit with specialty cocktails and seasonal brews. It's run by Alison Hangen, who describes the whole thing as an immersive experience that pairs the spooky with the classy.
There's more going on than just the drinks, too. Throughout the month, the pop-up features tarot card readings, scary movies, costume competitions and seasonal merchandise. You can stop in for a single drink and a reading, or spend a whole night with the movies and the crowd. Since it runs all month, it's an easy one to fit into a few different outings rather than having to clear one specific date.
